You are all very welcome to our annual open house "The Axe Day".
It is a fantastic event when we open up our factory and invite axe enthusiasts to come and experience axe making at Wetterlings in Storvik.
The highlights are axe forging, handle making, resharpening and rehandeling axes, Axe Tattoo, carving, timber framing, axe throwing competition, wood splitting. There are plenty of chances to make good axe bargains.
We also look forward to eating some of the local delicatessy "kolbulle" and enjoying the nice sunny day.

Wetterlings is visiting US in the middle of July. We will meet friends, costumers and look for new trends in NY. After a few days, the trip continues to Warren, Maine, to attend the annual open house at Lie-Nielsen Toolworks and eat some lobster!

Hickory

We have a new product - the Wetterlings Hickory Smoke! When the axe handles are turned here in our wood shop, we like to bring the hickory flakes home for barbecue . It tastes delicious. If you want to try it, boil some hickory flakes and strew over the embers just before placing the meat. When you have your preferred rareness, just add salt and pepper - eat.
